2nd Drop Calendar: Hobonichi 2027 for the first time at Nauli & Stories

Hobonichi 2027 at Nauli & Stories – for the first time!

This year, we are delighted to welcome a very special new addition to our calendar range: For the first time, Hobonichi is available at Nauli & Stories.

From September 1st, you can pre-order the new Hobonichi 2027 calendars from us.

Those who have known us for a while know how much we love Japanese stationery. TRAVELER’S notebooks, Midori, and many special stationery items from Japan have been with us for years. Hobonichi has therefore been on our wish list for a long time.

Now the time has finally come – and we are very excited to start our first Hobonichi year with you.

What is Hobonichi?

Hobonichi is primarily known for its Japanese calendars, which now have fans all over the world.

What's special about it: For most of its users, a Hobonichi is not just an appointment calendar. It can be a planner, diary, notebook, sketchbook, and personal archive all at once.

Some use it in a very minimalist way for appointments and to-do lists. Others write a diary, draw, glue in photos, tickets or memories, creating a very personal book over the course of a year.

Hobonichi Weeks – a whole week at a glance

The Hobonichi Weeks is slim and handy, making it perfect for on the go.

A week fits on a double page: On one side you see the individual weekdays, opposite there is space for notes, lists, ideas or anything important that week.

Additionally, there are extra note pages.

Those who write a lot can opt for the Weeks Mega. It offers significantly more note pages, thus combining a weekly calendar and notebook even more strongly.

The Weeks is a good choice for anyone who likes to plan clearly and compactly and wants to take their calendar with them everywhere possible.

Hobonichi HON A6 – one day, one page

If you prefer to plan each day in detail, you should take a look at the Hobonichi HON A6.

In the compact A6 format, each day gets its own space. Appointments, tasks, and notes can find their place here, as can thoughts, small drawings, and memories.

It is precisely this freedom that makes the Hobonichi so exciting for us. Today it's an appointment planner, tomorrow a diary, and on vacation, perhaps a travel journal.

The HON has a hard cover, making it a finished book that accompanies you throughout the year. The various designs certainly don't make the choice easier – but all the more beautiful.

Hobonichi HON A5 – more space for plans and memories

Do you like the "one day, one page" principle, but want more space to write?

Then the Hobonichi HON A5 is the more spacious option.

Its larger pages offer ample room for detailed daily planning, notes, journaling, drawings, or memories. This format is particularly beautiful for anyone who not only uses their calendar for organization but truly wants to document their year in it.

The HON A5 also has a hard cover and is available in various designs.

Why we like Hobonichi

For Nauli & Stories, we look for products that not only look beautiful when new, but that are enjoyed and used for a long time and have the potential to become classics.

And that's exactly what we find exciting about Hobonichi.

The combination of thoughtful design, functionality, and a special love for detail is something we encounter in many of our favorite products from Japan – and also in Hobonichi.

Which Hobonichi suits me?

Essentially, the decision with our selection can be boiled down to two questions:

Do I want to see my week at a glance – or dedicate a separate page to each individual day?

Those who like to plan compactly and have their week at a glance should consider the Hobonichi Weeks.

If you like the Weeks format but want a lot of extra space for notes, you'll find it in the Weeks Mega.

If you like to have a whole day per page and are looking for a handy calendar, you should choose the HON A6.

And if you love this principle but want more space for writing, planning and designing, you'll find it in the HON A5.
