Beautifully patterned cotton blanket in blue and gray from 3rd Culture. The Turkish label combines patterns from different cultures in one product. Just like the cultures of this world have always done. Unusual for designers today, they also talk about where they found the classics of the past.
A large woven cloth made from pre-shrunk cotton that makes an excellent sofa blanket or picnic blanket. Shows a pattern from the Fawohodie, a West African Adinkra symbol representing independence, freedom and emancipation. Adinkra symbols come from West Africa and have been used in the fine arts there since the 12th century.
The Turkish 'evil eye' was combined in this cloth, which is said to offer luck and protection.
