Joe the kangaroo looks so cheerfully into the world that it must be fun for everyone. The stuffed animal comes from the Portuguese manufacturer Carapau and is sewn from solid wool felt.

100% wool with polyester filling
The wool fabric is called Burel and is a traditional Portuguese wool felt fabric that the highlanders used to protect themselves from rain, snow and wind in the mountains. It is dyed in an environmentally friendly way and is characterized by its outstanding durability. The wool is washed, spun and woven. The fabric is then beaten with hot water, which causes it to become felted, making it water-repellent, abrasion-resistant and fire-retardant.
