Taking My Time by StoryTiles – Time for a little break

A green sofa with gold-colored embellishments sits atop a high stack of newspapers. On it sits a woman with her legs crossed, reading a newspaper and holding an orange cup. A floor lamp with an orange lampshade completes the little reading nook. "Taking My Time" by StoryTiles brings this unusual time-out to a handcrafted 10 × 10 cm ceramic tile.

For people who wish they had more time for themselves

Opening the newspaper, getting your favorite drink ready, and not having to do anything for once: this tile reminds you that a break has value of its own. Give it as a gift for a birthday, retirement, or as a little greeting for someone who could use some time off.

What are StoryTiles?

StoryTiles are little stories on decorative ceramic tiles. The brand was founded by the artist Marga van Oers. For "Taking My Time," the handmade tile is screen-printed.

The tiles are noticeably handmade, and variations in the glaze, whether in color or thickness, give them their very own charm.

Versatile use

With the hook on the back, you can hang the tile directly on the wall. A StoryTiles frame also highlights the reading nook. With cork felt pads, you can use the tile as a coaster. The hanger can be removed for tiling.
