Since 2018, we have been operating our concept store for special gifts and Japanese design in Adalbertstraße in Munich's Maxvorstadt district, right next to the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität at Siegestor. Here, we carefully curate special products, high-quality stationery, and extraordinary gifts for Munich residents and visitors from all over the world.

We are told almost daily that a visit to us makes people happy, and this feedback also warms our hearts because we know that with all our courage and efforts, we are on the right track.
The story of Nauli
In 2008, we - the two sisters Eva-Dewi and Johanna - founded our brand Nauli, under which we designed and produced everything that brought us joy at the time.
Nauli means beautiful and reminds us of our Indonesian grandmother, who sewed doll clothes with us even in kindergarten, creating unforgettable moments in our childlike souls.
In addition to exclusive stationery, which we handcrafted in our workshop, it included a rather humorous but elegant winter accessories collection made of mohair, cashmere, and silk, music boxes, and baby blankets for newborns and cloth dolls.
Originally produced for our stand at the Munich Winter Tollwood, we quickly took these lovingly made products online. Shortly after our own online shop, we opened an Etsy shop and were then driven by demand. Our focus became photo albums, calendars, and notebooks. Initially with the USA as the main market and soon also the UK. In our own online shop, Japanese writing instruments, paper balloons, and Washi Tape were soon added to the assortment. With DaWanda, we also managed to conquer the German market.

In 2015, we developed the Kabelartisten – a few weeks later, they were awarded the Etsy Design Award.

In 2018, we opened Nauli & Stories in Munich. A store where the story behind the products, as well as quality, high-end design, and sustainability, truly matter.
We like the extraordinary and sometimes can't quite explain why a product is "oh, so nauli!" and makes it into our store.
Visit us in Munich!
We look forward to advising you personally and showing you our curated selection.
