The Next Step by StoryTiles

A green and white pickup truck carries an entire household: a bicycle, plants, chairs, books, and moving boxes are stacked high above the loading bed. Even a guitar is included. Nathalie Rotteveel – Reddish Design has captured this new beginning for StoryTiles on a small ceramic tile.

A gift for a housewarming or move

Everything is packed; the next chapter of life can begin. "The Next Step" is a fitting gift for someone moving into their first home, relocating to a new city, or starting fresh with a loved one. On the wall, the tile serves as a reminder of the courage it takes to take the next step.

What are StoryTiles?

StoryTiles are little stories on ceramic. The brand, founded by artist Marga van Oers, has its tiles handmade in the Netherlands. The "The Next Step" motif is by Nathalie Rotteveel – Reddish Design.

The tiles are noticeably handmade, and variations in the glaze, whether in color or thickness, give them their very own charm.

Versatile use

With the hook on the back, you can hang the tile directly on the wall. In a StoryTiles frame, the moving motif is given its own dedicated place. Using cork felt pads, the tile can be used as a coaster; you can also tile it and integrate it into a tiled surface.
