Manufacturing and design by 3rd Culture, a young brand founded by a pair of siblings who think about "cross-cultural history" and reflect this in their works.

In this case it is African wax batik itself, which arose after the Dutch colonialists brought Indonesian batik to West and Central Africa. The mostly fine detailed patterns and muted colors did not find great favor in Africa. Until the Dutch brought African design ideas to fabric using the Javanese wax batik technique, creating the African batik we know today.
