Carl Aubock

    Filter

The Viennese painter and designer Carl Auböck (1900-1957) studied with Johannes Itten and followed him to the Bauhaus school in Weimar. There he dealt with the new design strategies and finally created well-known designs that are still made by hand in the company's own workshop in Vienna.

The name Auböck is not to be mentioned without Walter Gropius, who always had the paperweight trio of Auböck named after Walter Gropius on his desk.
In addition to the Auböck objects shown here, we are happy to order other design classics from the Vienna workshop, when available.
