The Story of the Mouse House
The Dutch artist Karina Schaapman (*1960) began building her mouse house in 2008.
With incredible attention to detail, she began to tell the story of Julia and Sam the mice in their home. Just as she experienced security at home in her own often difficult autobiography, everyone should feel secure in the mouse house.
In 2011 she published her first photographic picture book.
Today the big mouse house can be visited in the museum in Amsterdam. - And - even better - you can make your own!
