Wind in the sails by StoryTiles

A couple sails on a ship with billowing sails: one person stands at the bow with arms outstretched, the other at the helm. Blue lines and corner ornaments are reminiscent of classic Delft tiles. Marga van Oers adds a personal scene to the traditional ship motif. The handmade StoryTiles ceramic tile measures 10 × 10 cm in the Small format.

For sailing fans and new beginnings

Would you like to wish a couple luck on their journey together? "Wind in the sails" is the perfect gift for a wedding or anniversary. You can also give this tile as a personal greeting to someone who loves sailing.

What are StoryTiles?

StoryTiles was founded by artist Marga van Oers and tells little stories on decorative ceramic tiles. The "Wind in the sails" motif was also created by her. The tiles are handmade in the Netherlands.

The tiles are noticeably handcrafted, and variations in the glaze, whether in color or thickness, give them their own unique charm.

Versatile use

With the hook on the back, you can hang the tile on the wall. A matching StoryTiles frame offers another way to present the maritime scene. The heat-resistant tile can be used as a coaster with cork felt pads; it is also suitable for tiling.
