Carl Auböck's Horseshoe from brass is a beautiful yet practical piece of timeless design. It functions as pen holder.

Length: approx. 12cm =  4.7"

The brass workshop Carl Auböck in Vienna was founded by the father of later famous Carl Auböck II. who developed the well known Carl Auböck design. As a scholar of Johannes Itten of Bauhaus in Weimar, he developed a new style. He became famous for his designs for living, like his desktop utensils and his lamps.

His name cannot be mentioned without Walter Gropius, who used his paperweight set, which is now known as Walter Gropius paper weights.
