East west home is best by StoryTiles – there’s no place like home

A car with luggage on its roof stands in front of a house, reached by a winding path. An orange mailbox adds another splash of color to the blue and white landscape in the style of Delft tiles. Marga van Oers designed "East west home is best" for StoryTiles. The small-format ceramic tile measures 10 × 10 cm.

A greeting for a new home

"East or west, home is best." This tile makes a perfect housewarming gift or a welcome greeting for someone returning from a long journey. With a personal message, you can connect it to your shared home or the wonderful feeling of coming home.

What are StoryTiles?

Artist Marga van Oers founded StoryTiles, a brand for little stories on decorative ceramic tiles. "East west home is best" is also her creation. The tiles are handmade in the Netherlands.

The tiles are noticeably handcrafted, and variations in the glaze, whether in color or thickness, give them their own unique charm.

Versatile use

With the hook on the back, you can hang the tile on the wall. The homecoming motif can also be displayed in a matching StoryTiles frame. Using cork pads, you can use the tile as a coaster; it is also suitable for tiling.
